On a humidifier

During the winter, however, St Louis people need to use a humidifier, because the cold air doesn't hold moisture and is very dry. However, we're still considered to be a wet cold area -- I've often heard that in places such as Colorado, the air is so dry they say that it doesn't really feel cold. I've never experienced that. I've never been anywhere that cold where the air is that dry. Here in St Louis the air is still dry enough to dry out your skin to an uncomfortable extent, so I guess in Colorado they must really put moisturizers on their skin.
