On Condo Hotels

One thing I like when I go to The Philippines is staying in what they call "apartels," which are a less fancy version of what we know as Condo Hotels, where you get a small kitchen and dining area as well as simply a bedroom with a TV. You may also get a living room area which would most likely have the TV, though some smaller ones may have the TV in a bedroom. So if you're staying someplace for more than a few days, you can save money by buying groceries and cooking your meals instead of eating out in restaurants for every single meal.
