On ellipticals

I just heard an album that saddened me. I can't remember the name of it, but it was by Jefferson Starship, circa 1999. Grace Slick was replaced by another female singer, but it had Paul Kantner and Marty Balin, who I thought didn't like each other at all. And the cover was psychedelic, and the music and words tried to be, but it was painful to hear because it was like they were going through all the motions about love etc etc etc but it just didn't sound interesting. Some themes were taken from the Hijack the Starship, some of it was spoken, they were so intent on getting their message across. No great music at all. Maybe I would have liked it in 1972. Hard to say. Go back to the ellipticals, guys. That was pitiful.
