On exterior lighting

Exterior lighting can really affect the emotional appeal of a house. I remember that I used to deliver pizzas to one house that I really liked going to, because its lighting system looked very much like that of a outdoor bar in Bangkok Thailand. Of course, it didn't have dancing bar girls or blaring music or anything like that. It wasn't that kind of a bar. It was just a place to go to relax and hang out in relaxing environment, which the Thais were very smart about arranging, but this house in America closed imitated them. I had the feeling I could just go to their back yard with the greenery and lights and shut the world away.
