On glass sinks

Another CD I listened to recently kind of made me sad. It was an album by June Carter Cash, daughter of Mother Mabel Carter of the original Carter Family, and wife of Johnny Cash. It was ok in spots, but she's just not the singer her mother, aunt and uncle, and husband, were. She sang Johnny's Burning Ring of Fire but her voice was not strong enough to even compete with his version. She ended album with my favorite country song of all time, Will the Circle Be Unbroken, but it was painful because she changed the timing and emphasis, and I kept wanting it to sound like her aunt (?) mother (?) - I don't know which one sang the original, but that's the greatest country song of all time. June's can be thrown down the glass sink.
