rosaries for devotions

I am still wondering about something, not being raised Catholic and that is exactly what are rosaries. I guess that seems silly to those of you who are or were raised as Catholics, but us Protestants don't say any devotional prayers to Mary to intercede with God for us. We de-emphasize Mary a lot, compared to you. Me, I don't have a problem either way. Partly it's psychology, the appealing to the feminine. She's the feminine representation of the Divine in Christianity, although technically she's not worshipped, I'd say it's a technical distinction given how me she's revered.

business card printing for the future

How far away are musical business cards -- that is, ones that play a ringtone when they're given out or looked at, when someone looks at a business card to find a contact or make a contact. Of course, business card printing will be different in that case, but those companies will adjust. They'll find new techniques to spice up the appearance of the actual cards themselves. Maybe they'll be three-dimensional or even show small Flash animated movies. Yes, business cards will be miniature flat screen TVs. And they'll have contact info memorized and can also reel off your professional services.

futuristic return address labels

And I also wonder about the futuristic possibilities of simple return address labels. How will they change? Well, even simple ones pasted on a paper envelope in the future can contain computer chips or RFID tags. They will track where the letter is the mail and whether the receiver has gotten it and opened it. If someone sends you a bill you don't want to pay, you won't be able to claim you didn't get it. Same with various legal notices. Maybe even with personal letters, though who writes those anymore? It'll also make it hard to tell creditors "the check is in the mail," because then they'll want the tracking ID so they can verify that, and of course you won't have it. But it will make delivery of mail a lot more accurate. No more letters taken home by mail carriers (some carriers have been found to have stolen/dumped tons of mail in their careers.)

professional business cards of the future

How long before professional business cards go electronic? I don't mean in the sense that there're already online forms that give out the same information, though basically expanded. But someday cards will come equipped with computer chips. They'll be in a format that allows some device to read them, and there'll be contact information in a standard form of XML format. Of course contact information, but also about your business and what you can do -- and actually your entire resume. Maybe ways for people to make it more creative, especially for creative careers.

And there'll also be ways to contact people through their business cards. Of course they already hold phone numbers and email address etc, but you'll be able to dial them direct by connecting it to your cell phone/handheld PC device or send them a text message though with your picture and contact info attached as an expanded sig file.
