On microwave ovens

When they first came out, I had a knee-jerk, hippy-like aversion to microwave ovens. But I have to admit that having one is very convenient, especially for a single guy who doesn't really like to cook very much. I can warm up leftovers, and do a few other things with it that save me time. I can heat up one glass of water without the time and excess energy usuage that would be required if I put a pan of water on a burner on the stove.

Titleist Golf

For some reason, Tiger Woods has really transformed the image of golf, from a sport for rich white guys to a sport that anybody can play, despite being multi-racial. Not being a golf fan, I don't have much appreciation for his play. I guess he's really so good, or maybe it's just who is that is so attractive to the media. I know he was given as example of professional studying the lay of the land of every hole at the Masters golf course, so he would know every shot, for perfect Titleist golf play to win.
