On plasma TV lift

On behalf of my mother, I'm grateful to my cousin for rearranging the wiring of her new TV so that the picture finally looks good. She had the cable wire going into the wrong place, into the VCR/DVD player instead of into her TV. No need for plasma TV lifts, but that made the picture on her screen sharp and clear. I don't know how my mother's been watching the TV with the fuzzy picture she had -- worse than her very old TV, which even though not modern and high tech, still gave a relatively decent picture of the kind we all watched for the first fifty years of the TV industry. Now she should be able to enjoy the movies and other shows she watches, even the Lifetime channel.

On hoodia

December is an especially bad month for losing weight not only because we tend to eat so much for the holiday season, but because it's dark outside early at night and so we don't get much exercise. If you go to a gym, you don't go much in December because you're spending a lot more time shopping and getting ready for Christmas. You can consider taking hoodia to reduce your appetite so you enjoy the holiday season without eating so much -- but you're still allowed to party and to receive presents. Plus, you can try cutting back on the self-indulgence we all feel even when we're not at a party. I know I've used the holiday season as an excuse to over-eat even when by myself.
