On hemerrhoid pain relief

I watched an interesting "Kollywood" movie the night before I left for the Philippines. Kollywood is the other cinema in India. More people are now familiar with Bollywood, which combines the old term for Mumbai, Bombay, with Hollywood. Those movies are for an audience that speaks Hindi. Maybe they're circulated throughout India with subtitles for the other languages people speak, I don't know. That would make sense. The same way Chinese movies are always subtitled in Chinese -- because the spoken language changes from area to area, but the written language is the same. Anyway, Kollywood movies are in Tamil, not Hindi, directed at Tamil speakers. It was about love, though one of the love interests is an asshole, so the woman who loves him needs a form of hemorrhoid pain relief.

On weight loss pills

I've been frantically thinking of some way to write a good, responsible book on weight loss and weight loss pills. I think I found it, so maybe it will be on Amazon soon. I haven't written most of it yet, but I'm working on it when I can. It's not the total book of weight loss, but has a unique angle I think will appeal to people, and provides useful, helpful information. I have to learn to narrow and niche-ify my thinking, to come up with great ideas to write many more books on Amazon using their print on demand service Create Space. I'm also working on books on Kindle.

On budgeting tips

This recession is very bad for many people, but it is good to the extent that it forces people to be more responsible in how they spend and save money. Lots of Americans need budgeting tips, but they didn't bother to implement them until they got scared or lost the job or something. That is part of the purpose of recessions in the economic cycle - to correct the excesses of the boom times. This includes getting rid of debt and putting people and businesses are sounder financial footing. In good times people and businesses tend to forget the basics. They take prosperity for granted.

On prenatal vitamins

It's good to see that doctors now are prescribing pregnant women prenatal vitamins. Years ago it was big news when the FDA finally admitted that a shortage of folic acid could cause birth defects. So in my day job I finally started seeing people tell me they were prescribed folic acid. And people with other conditions are prescribed vitamins, though I think it's a scam that Medicaid pays for expensive versions when the people should go to a health food store and buy cheaper kinds themselves. But they'd rather have the taxpayers buy them expensive vitamins rather than take care of themselves.

On natural acne remedy

It's good that today people are looking for a natural acne remedy. But it could be that they just need to change their diet also. I know that Matt Furey recently put an email that his teenage complexion problems cleared up after his mother told him to stop consuming dairy products, and he did so. I don't recall my mother telling me that. Maybe it's because she believes milk is healthy. I loved to drink lots of milk when I was a kid, but I stopped many years ago, but she still bugs me about it. I'm still healthy, so obviously I don't need the milk. I do eat other dairy products such as low-fat string cheese and yogurt.
