On new back surgery

My aunt told me she'd recently had knee replacement surgery, which at least is better than having to have new back surgery, or so it would seem to me. But I haven't had real surgery since . . . I can't remember. Oh, when my wisdom teeth were cut out of my gums at age 14. My aunt has already had a hip replacement, and I would think that would be worse, but she said knees were worse. I know it was hard on my mother to get that done 10 years ago. I guess it was worth it to her. She still walked slowly, but at least didn't have the pain.
