On adult diapers

As I approach the time when I will soon leave the government job I've worked at for over 30 years, and collect a pension, and be what others called "retired," I think more than I used to about "old age" and what I want for myself, and of course it's not just to have to sit around in a nursing home wearing adult diapers. I utterly reject that. I just resaw a DVD by Matthew Furey saying that "retire" and "work" and two terrible words to remove from your vocabulary. No matter what age you are, you should do something you enjoy. Don't call it work, call it practice. You can leave one job to do something you like better, but never "retire" to do nothing all day. That's my plan, leave my current job but do things I enjoy to make money.
