On sports gifts

I have to admit, I have a total blind spot when it comes to professional sports. I just don't care, and I don't see why anybody else does, either. I can see how some games are exciting, provided you care who wins or loses. And I just don't. Now, I can see how people can get into local and school sports. If your kid is in left field then of course you care about the outcome. Or if it's your school. Even a college, where you may take biology with the second string quarterback. But when it comes to professional sports, the teams don't really represent the cities where they play. They're just hired talents. Still, many people like sports gifts.
