Diet pills regulated

It's probably a good thing that these days diet pills are more strictly controlled and regulated by the government. I don't really like to say that, because I'm not fond of government regulation, but there were many years when doctors freely prescribed amphetamines, benzadrine and I don't know what other kinds of speed, white crosses, black crosses, and so on, to women who wanted to lose weight. So a lot of these women felt really really good after taking the pills, and wanted to keep on keeping on feeling that good. Boy, losing weight felt so good, since they were burning up their body's reserves of strength and energy, making themselves superhyper. But it also burnt up calories and lowered the appetites.
