Def Leppard concert tickets

One local radio station I listen to used to fill up nonprogramming time with VH1's behind the music. I enjoyed listening and hearing a lot of things I hadn't known about various groups back in the day. Yet most of them got to be very much the same, with variations in dates and names: hard work, love, early success, drugs, sex, big success, drugs, heartbreak, tragedy. For Def Leopard it was a car accident involving their drummer. I do recall hearing about him going to some farmhouse and telling them, "I'm a famous drummer and I just lost my left arm" or words to that effect. Yet the group is still around and so you can buy Def Leppard concert tickets if they're coming close to your town. Not sure if it's the same drummer or not. Hopefully he recovered and can play with a good prosthesis.

Energy boost to avoid accidents

I can remember afternoons when I felt so tired and I had to fight to stay awake while I was driving home. Yes, that is dangerous, and once I did hit a parked car because I momentarily blanked out while pulling away from a green light. So fortunately nobody was hurt. I didn't even get a ticket, though I guess my insurance company put it down on my driving record. It did scare me, so I now I make sure I get some sort of energy boost to make sure I have at least enough vigor to stay awake on the way home. Once I'm home it's ok to take a nap and sometimes I do, though often it's after I've been working at the computer for a few hours.

Discount furniture stores of yore

The king of discount furniture in the St Louis area is or used to be Rothman Furniture. Now I'm wondering what's been going on with them. I used to hear their commercials on the radio constantly. Now, I'm realizing that I haven't heard them for quite some time, and I wonder what's going on. I know they're not out of business, since there's one of their stores directly across the main road from where I live. Yet I can also see that there're hardly ever many cars in their parking lot. They have a huge parking lot and it usually has no more than a few cars. Rothman's big store used to be on Chippewa just past Grandpa's but that closed some time ago. During Memorial Day weekend the air waves should have been full of Rothman Furniture ads proclaiming this sale the greatest ever. Every sale at Rothman's was the greatest ever.
